**NEW** for 2011 - School isn't Scary
The School isn't Scary Program is designed to assist the Strong Start and Ready set Learn programs by introducing preschoolers to elementary school, and easing the transition to their new environment. With magic, comedy and audience participation, the friendly Purple Pirate will first win the students trust with an interactive imaginary treasure hunt and magic show. Then, he will take them on a treasure hunt through their new school teaching them the locations of key places in the school and hallway etiquette.
Technical Requirements
Fee Range: $350-550 Since 2009, as a result of provincial budget cuts, and in recognition of the diverse needs of different schools in different districts and neighborhoods, the Purple Pirate switched to a flexible fee schedule that allows schools to pay a fee they can afford. The fee range is NOT based on number of students, but is based on what a school can afford to pay.
